MANCHESTER LARKS

A friendly and informal weekly workshop. Each session starts with warm-ups and simple rounds, then we progress to more complex songs in several parts. The songs include international folk, jazz standards, freedom songs, barbershop, soul ... songs from around the world.
New members are welcome at any time.

LOCATION	Sessions are held at: St James' Church, 95a Princess Road, Moss Side, Manchester M14 4TH Car park at rear off Barnhill Street. Occasionally St James' is not available. If it says 'St Edmunds' Church Centre' next to any of the dates above, that session will be held at: St Edmunds' Church Centre, Alexandra Road South, Whalley Range, Manchester M16 8FS Both are accessible venues

SINGING FOR FUN (BURY)

An open workshop that takes place once a month on a Sunday morning.
New members are always welcome to join this informal group. No experience is necessary and you don't need to be able to read music.
We learn a variety of songs from around the world - all unaccompanied and in harmony.
The emphasis is firmly on singing for the pure joy of it!

LOCATION	The Fusilier Museum, Moss Street, Bury, BL9 0DF Plenty of street parking - free on Sundays. Fully accessible venue.

SINGING AT ST JOHN'S HALL (OLD TRAFFORD)

This group is led by Faith and a team of trainees who are learning to teach songs to the rest of the group.
No experience is necessary and you don't need to be able to read music.
New members are always welcome - just turn up!

PRICE	£4.00 / £2.00 concession NB If you don't feel able to offer this amount, please come anyway - we have some funds to subsidise the group.
