Faith is delighted to be acting as a tutor for Andalucian Adventures - a travel company that runs activity holidays in Europe and Morocco. Fattoria di Titignano, Umbria (3 nights) This very comfortable converted castle is set in a spectacular landscape. The rooms are characterful with large, en-suite bathrooms. When you're not singing there's a lovely pool and easy guided walks available at no extra cost. Our meals come from the hotel's own organic farm. Hotel Lago Verde, Barrea, Abruzzo National Park (4 nights) This welcoming, family-run hotel offers en-suite rooms and excellent locally produced food. At 4000ft, the village of Barrea is in the very heart of the Abruzzo National Park, home to brown bears, wolves and lynx. The itinerary includes singing with the local village choir, barbecue with local musicians by the lake and even singing to the wolves in the woods! Beyond singing there will be a range of activities on offer including easy walks, exploring medieval Barrea, cookery and local cheese and wine tasting. Horse riding, kayaking and cycling are available at additional cost. The whole week will be supported by our inspirational local guide Stefano Spinetti who has spent most of his life walking in these regions. |
